Here we go! Breakdown No 14 of 138 (Not a ranking. Just alphabetical order), the Boston College Eagles.
Here is a thread to preview the Eagles' upcoming season.
Long thread 🧵 incoming.
That was a 10/10 on the Frustration Meter. Kind of like most Red Sox games this year.
BC barely misses the diving catch in the 9th. Liberty makes the diving catch to end the game.
@NCAALAX Can anyone tell me why this is a 29-team tournament? Why not 28 or 32?
29 is a strange number of teams for a tournament and I’m curious if there is a reason for it.
I must admit that I don’t know much about Minnesota State, Augustana or St. Thomas but I find it hard to believe they are better than UConn or Boston College.
That was probably the worst period of the season for Boston College.
It was also possibly the worst hockey announcing I’ve heard in my lifetime. Learn the players’ names next time.

I think it would be interesting to do a study on Boston sports fan entitlement by comparing
1) those who root for the 4 pro teams & BC
2) those who only root for the 4 pro teams
I suspect those of us who root for #BCEagles FB & BKB complain less about the pro teams.
Thoughts?
Magnitude of the game aside, that might be the most ridiculous BC hockey loss I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how they didn’t score at least 8 goals while Providence scored 3/4 on interceptions right front of goal and the other on a 1 in 500 chance knuckleball. Unreal.

@mike_gualtieri@BCMBB Things have been so bad for so long that it’s easy to forget they were that good.
Notre Dame shot 55% from three point range to win by 3 and end the streak.
BC would get to 22-1.
Bruins front office defenders: “The Bruins have the worst prospect pool in hockey because they never pick high in the draft, not because Cam Neely and Don Sweeney are poor drafters”
Don Sweeney and Cam Neely when they get a 1st round pick:
@paulegoodridge@Brett_McMurphy Then I guess about 99% of college football fans are idiots.
It can’t possibly be you and the 1% that are the idiots, can it?
