Earlier today, BCFD reunited with 11-year-old Jordyn following a critical dirt bike accident in February.
After being transported to Johnson Memorial Health and transferred to Riley Children’s Hospital by IU Health LifeLine, Jordyn is now doing great!

Road Closure
State Road 144 is currently closed between 450 W and 500 W due to a large tree down into power lines.
This closure is expected to last for several hours. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route.
It was a beautiful morning for cadet training.
Cadets were introduced to search, learning how we locate victims inside a structure and working through it step by step.
The Bargersville Fire Department Dive Team and C-Shift crews were out this morning in the Saddle Club addition getting some dive training in. Good morning to be in the water.

Yesterday, Bargersville Fire Department Engine 201 and Battalion 20 assisted the Franklin Fire Department on a residential structure fire.
Bargersville units on scene included Engine 201 and Battalion 20.
This afternoon at 12:27, crews were dispatched to the intersection of North County Road 800 West and West County Road 100 North for a reported vehicle fire.
Engine 202 arrived on scene to find a working box truck fire. Crews were able to quickly contain and extinguish the fire.
Big news—Station 202 will now include a full-service café open to the public starting this spring.
Menu items will include shift coffee, leftover chili, and whatever was brought in on the last grocery run.
Hours of operation: whenever we’re not on a run.
