The team is conducting intensive training in bird ringing techniques, including mist net setting, bird rescue, accurate bird handling, and ringing methodology benefiting BCFS Ornithologists, and skilled local birding guides in the Budongo landscape.
BCFS for over a decade now conducts avian research in Budongo. We are privileged to collaborate in training with a team from the UK led by Mr. Malcolm Wilson who have embarked on a significant journey to Uganda to advance avian research, conservation, and eco-tourism.

Safety is a priority! Our dedicated staff recently participated in a comprehensive first aid training by @UgandaRedCross. In an effort to ensure safety in our "wild" work environment our team was well equipped; from CPR to basic wound care.
