Bayou City is a vibrant worshipping church with a radical focus on Jesus. We are passionate about serving the city and the world while starting new churches.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. - Ephesians 6:13

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places

In Mathew 28:18 Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Jesus is Lord over everything and every situation, seen and unseen.
Jesus is the love you are waiting and looking for and is love personified. How different would your world be if you were committed to seeking God’s best for people you didn’t have pleasant feelings for?
Jesus calls us to keep His commandments so that we can abide in His love and that we can bear much fruit and this proves that we are His disciples.
What would a life that abides in Jesus look like? How can we encourage each other to abide in him?
We live in a world that can leave us feeling weary, empty, and wondering if anything or anyone can help pull us out of the depths we feel ourselves in.
Be encouraged in this: Jesus is the hope you are looking for, and Jesus is Who you can hope in.
