@UnknownSquids @Meeperthe1 very messy, since some of the books written about first conflict (like those written by Phil Kelly) are very contradictory and have moments that baffle folks. (The Tau getting pushed back by a imperial guard bayonet charge is silly)

The Tau are not the Imperium, and don’t so easily absorb that many losses without consequence.
