There's a solid number of Quebecers representing @CanadaSoccerEN at the FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted on Canadian soil for the first time ever.
There has yet to be a Quebecer on Team Canada to score at the World Cup, is this the year one of these players make history?
Alphonso Davies spoke to the media Wednesday to clarify his status for June 12. What should be made of how the last 48 hours have unfolded? Should there be concern that Moรฏse Bombito did not practice?

@libaanstar1@william_lou@OrenWeisfeld If Murray or Wiggins have a change of heart next summer and let Gordie and Rowan know they want to represent Canada, will they actually shut the door?
Here's the strange thing with Murray and Sharpe. It's actually not that hard to commit tentatively. Just show up to training camp for a few days and then say you're not 100% RN. that would leave an openning for next year and you can always bail out then. Wouldn't even do that...
6'8 W Deng Ngor showcased his versatility in a dominant win for Canada at the U18 @AmeriCup
Looking extremely comfortable as an oversized playmaker and shotmaker, combined with his motor and ability to guard 1-5
Continuing to look every bit of the HM prospect he is. Recently picked up offers from Ohio State, Georgia Tech, New Mexico, Ball State, West Virginia
@dengngorr@NphScouting
Deng Ngor (@dengngorr) was a clear standout player for Canada against Dominican Republic today
- Great anticipation/movement off-ball
- Impressive ball handling in half-court & transition
- High-level athleticism and floor-spacing upside
14 PTS, 6 REB, 1 AST, 1 BLK, 5/7 FGM
Canada basketball revealed its 23-player pool for World Cup qualifiers. Why no Jamal Murray, Andrew Wiggins or Shaedon Sharpe?

Gordie Herbert explains why continuity and long-term commitment are critical for the success of the Canada men's national basketball team.

A thought on Jamal Murray and others when it comes to committing to the SMNT for Canada Basketball: Many of the players from Canada, especially NBA Players, receive recognition, love and notoriety for simply being Canadian in the NBA. It's an identifier for them that separates them from other players, especially Americans. "Oh Jamal Murray, he's Canadian". "You know he's Canadian right?"
They are highlighted back here in Canada and are shown love when they return to play the Raptors. It's unique to them as they forge their careers and reap benefits from it along their career. And they have earned it; don't get me wrong. I think that fans really just want some players to show a bit more love back to a fanbase, Nation and Program that continually shows them love throughout their career .
Relevant? You decide.

Congrats to Kur Jongkuch and Thomas Kennedy for making the @CanBball player pool, I need to ask why isn't @CEBLeague Canadian player of the year 6"10 Tyrese Samuel not included? Clearly Team Canada needs more size and Samuel fits the bill cc: @Bartlett_MikeR@JustEsBaraheni
Once again, @CanBball is preaching commitment for its men's national team ahead of the 2028 Olympics. Jamal Murray, not included in the player pool, will be the litmus test.

@Truenor23860723 What if Murray reconsiders and changes his mind in the next whike or even next year.. I feel like if he actually realizes he made a mistake by not committing and is legitimately humble about it, I feel like the program shouldn't turn him away
