@Narcocop This is a great video & everything Miller said made sense. The 2% she referred to is likely Tapology voters putting her odds of beating Carli Judice at 2% (it creeped up to 5% by fight night). Yet she backed up her words & nearly won. She will beat Ravena Oliveira this week.

I'm very surprised Miller isn't a much bigger favorite, even as I realize Miller isn't considered elite in any way. But she brings a legit submission threat to the octagon, she's better & tougher than Oliveira, and she will prove it Saturday.

A stat I've seen is that the career record of the fighters Oliveira has beaten (not including one fighter) is: 1-19-1. And if that one fighter is included, Simone da Silva, Silva is a fighter who has lost 34 fights in a row. And Silva was Oliveira's last win. Oliveira's lack of quality competition is beyond glaring.

Miller has fought better UFC competition than Oliveira, and performed better against it as well. In her loss to Carli Judice, she had Judice in trouble on the ground twice, including in the 3rd round, which tells you the success Judice was having on the feet didn't slow Miller down.

An Oliveira negative is she's fought at 135 pounds, 115 pounds, and now 125 pounds. The weight class commitment hasn't been there. Also, she lives & trains in Brazil, which means she's been at a climate change disadvantage every time she's flown from Brazil to her 3 UFC fight locations (UK, Canada, and Las Vegas).

If Oliveira's advantage is considered to be striking, her stand up hasn't affected her UFC competition at all.

Miller will either submit Oliveira, or win a unanimous decision.
