Christian/Father/Husband/Retired Teacher-That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet--Dickinson- #TeamNotFollowBack - I hang out at Conner Prairie
One of the most important inventions in ancient North America wasn't a tool, a weapon, or a monument.
It was the ability to move food through time. The future was invented in a storage pit.

Spent some time Friday touring the HSE teacher-in-residence facilities at Conner Prairie. Also recorded a podcast you will hear Monday with the teacher-in-residence Amy Murch. Listen Monday. The link will be here & https://t.co/Uql9xcvdJl
I reviewed the list.
Twenty-three citations were posted. Twenty had identifiable PMIDs. Three were truncated PMC links that can’t even be verified from what was shared.
This is what’s called a paper dump.
It’s a tactic. Not an argument.
The idea is simple: overwhelm the reader with citations so no one checks them. The length of the list is meant to substitute for the strength of the evidence.
When you actually read them, here’s what they mostly are:
• Ecological correlations (state vaccine rates vs. autism prevalence).
That cannot establish causation. Ever.
• Small observational re-analyses of old datasets.
Vulnerable to confounding, subgroup dredging, and statistical artifacts.
• Narrative reviews and “hypothesis” papers.
Mechanisms proposed. No primary causal data.
• Case series.
No proper control groups.
• Cell culture or mouse experiments using doses that do not represent routine human exposure.
What they are not:
• Large prospective birth cohorts
• National registry studies with proper controls
• Meta-analyses demonstrating causation
• Randomized neurodevelopmental outcome trials
In other words: none of them establish that vaccines cause autism.
A stack of citations is not proof.
It’s volume masquerading as validity.
If you want to know whether something causes something else, you don’t count papers.
You weigh evidence.
