@Don_K_Williams Absolutely spot on. It's well documented that college athletes - at least at the D2 and D3 schools- outperform non-athletes academically......because they have to if they want to play. They're much tougher than the kids sleeping late and employers recognize this skill set.

@SavageSports_ @GetUpESPN Matthew Stafford fine. Dude has debatably a HOF body of work. Maye is easily playing at his level though. Bad teams good coordinator or not. Winning at a high clip and putting up elite numbers is tough. Only 3 or 4 guys can do both every year consistently.

@NFL_DovKleiman In the early 90's, the Patriots had a five year run of 19 - 61. It was painful to watch. Then one day they drafted a kid in the 6th round that every other team passed on and won 6 Super Bowls.
Anything is possible in Football. Although it often takes a wicked long time.
