It's a boogeyman of growth to a Port Moody mayor and some Tsawwassen and Kitsilano residents. It's a "dense, chaotic nightmare" that lacks parking to some in Burnaby.

The cheapest 1 bedroom apartment in the entire Lower Mainland is $1500 in North Delta. Everything cheaper is either a basement suite, a secondary suite, or renting a room in a shared house or apartment. Why does it matter?
