Swiftwater Units removed a male subject from James River after he was thrown from his kayak in Balcony Falls, SOC Bravo Boat located the male & Boat 2 recovered kayak, Glasgow, & Amherst County Swiftwater Units responded also.

As units cleared the James River SOC would be assigned to Co. 13 @SC13FD for a MVC with entrapment down 30ft embankment. TAC 1, SOC2, Rescue 1 responded.
