Everyone at The Commy was very saddened to hear of the passing of @sligotim the original Holy Goalie and a Blantyre legend. He was a true supporter and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with the entire Fallon family at this time!

@pattif21 @CatholicSat That’s not my lived experience having been around 9 times both pre and post Francis Gandolfo is bustling now compared to before with more restaurants than ever the sign of a strong local economy. Visitor numbers to the town are significantly up and it’s spread thru the year

@kikiC1931 @CatholicSat Turns out the mayor was wrong, the reversal is complete! I believe the numbers well in excess of 250k a year are way in excess of that predicted hence all the work that has been done to change the entry points, there is also now more restaurants in Gandolfo than ever!
