He now must get out of both
Perry and Zucc. Zucc has played 6 games. If he gets to 10, he gets 5M. Best to release him. 5M goes to next yrs cap. But will need every cap dollar to fix this team.
Yes, cap going up, but so are salaries. That 5M is the difference between another meh player or impact player.

Does Kenny have the guts to release both Perry and Zucc?

If Perry and Zuccarello still look like lost passengers, both should be waived / released from their contracts...Perry looks terrible and Zuc has done nothing. Zucc has 6 games played. After the roadtrip, that will be 8 games played. If he makes it to 10, he gets a 5M bonus. I think that goes towards next yrs cap, but matters not...we have seen they use every dollar for a bunch of mid tier 34 year olds and that takes them to the cap...the 5M can go towards an actual IMPACT PLAYER.
