@LukeEasterling All the smoke of CJ Allen at 15 worries me. I still don’t love the pick in the second, but it’s more palatable. 🤞🏼for Ioane in the 1st.
@surfrenegade They should take him regardless if they stay put at 15 & he’s there. Only 2 players I’d be happy with at 15 are him & Styles. Doesn’t look like Styles makes it past top 5. I think you can make an argument none of the top Edge rushers are leaps & bounds overs late 1st/2nd guys.
@LedyardNFLDraft@timeforjeffrey Great list. I’m hoping Stukes is a sleeper pick for the Bucs. He’s a versatile piece piece that can do well at any spot in the secondary, I like him as a deep free safety allowing them to get both Winfield & Smith closer to the line of scrimmage where they excel.
@JCAllenNFL@RealBucsTalk If they want an older former Marcus West coached player just go get Von Miller for 6-8 million. Nelson can play the run downs. Von can be the pass rush specialist & give you 9-10 sacks.
@TheSamerAli I don’t think he was ever coming to play for Caldwell again. He had his best season once Caldwell left the Jags. Not going after Devin Bush for what they paid for Cade is an interesting choice.
@surfrenegade Vega makes the most sense for the Bucs. About as sure fire a player there is in the draft in the first round. Solidifies LG next to Wirfs. Bredeson can battle Barton for C spot, he looked better there last season. Then you have a solid backup for all three interior spots.
@StickToTheModel Any plans to open up the after draft process to UDFAs & FAs who didn’t get scooped? Late cuts after the draft? Practice squad placements? Also when you type in a particular offer it doesn’t stick unless I’m experiencing user error. Appreciate this tool, great work!
@EMT_Ashlie Calais Campbell & Von Miller. No signs of slowing down. Calais had 5 sacks familiarity w Bowles, Suh type signing. Von had 9 sacks playing 35% of snaps for Washington last season, familiarity w Marcus West. Get both for around 6-8 million each. Licht type bargains, Vet Leaders.
Man the one realistic trade target I kept going for w/ Stick to the Model’s Be a GM was Sweat. Would have been a huge move to spell Vita & eventually take the full reigns from him in a few years. Even lining those 2 next to each other would have freed Vita to move around
Trade: the New York Jets are sending DE Jermaine Johnson to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for DT T'Vondre Sweat, per ESPN sources.
The trade cannot be processed until the start of the new league year in March.
@LukeEasterling@mikegolicjr Am I the only one who wouldn’t be upset with Licht sticking him next to Wirfs for the foreseeable future? If the OL is secure, I don’t see the Bucs having that downfall they experienced last year
@codyh33 Monken, Klayton Adams(if he could be given permission to leave for play calling), Frank Smith. I’d even take Kingsbury to reunite with Baker and Mike Evans over the other options the Bucs have interviewed.
