Jameis Winston on being Giants starter:
“I gathered the guys and said, if one man has one crab leg he’s a mere mortal. But if that same man has 53 crab legs he’s an unstoppable force.”
YouTubers be like “wake up at 4am and run, that’s alpha!” No, it’s not. Look at apex predators; they’re all lazy. Bears hibernate, lions sleep all day. You know who wakes up at 4am and runs? Squirrels.

Bush gets a lot of retrospective hate.
He did a lot of ill informed things.
But he shepherded this nation through a time of tragedy and fear with a balance of strength, grace and compassion that not many Presidents could have mustered.
Memory is fickle, and plenty will tell you they always disliked Bush, or were against going into Afghanistan, or that he was hateful.
In the aftermath, his general approval rating was 70%, his approval rating on handling 9/11 was even higher, and support for the war was almost unanimous.
He brought a nation together, he reminded us to love and support our neighbors, he assured us of American justice, and he still stood up to say that this was not an indictment of Muslims or Islam.
He doesn’t get the thanks he deserves for what he shouldered then for this country.
It doesn’t absolve bad choices or being misled on other policies - but it shouldn’t be overshadowed by that either.
It should be appreciated for what it was, and be a reminder of a time when our political landscape was policy disagreements between groups of well intentioned and civil people.
Sammy Sosa during the Cubs first home game after 9/11. This gives me goosebumps everytime. It’s so much more than just a game
The US flag was a great touch by Sammy.
