Our cadets went down to Camp Ashland, hosted by the Army National guard, where they spent the day solving peer-guided, physical challenges. The National Guard then provided their lunch from Jimmy Johns before they returned back to school.

We took our cadets to the #strategicaircommandmuseum to learn more about the air force’s history and see tons of types of aircrafts. Our cadets also got to see their new Star-wars Exhibit, full of history and incredible displays! After, we arrived at Golden Apple Buffet for food.
Our second semester SPA night was a success! With a few of our cadets in charge of showing 7 middle schoolers around. Everyone had a good time and stayed safe!

In the cold March morning, our cadets worked hard to clean up the highway we adopted. It spans 1 mile and sees busy traffic daily and heavy trash, but with our cadets help we can keep it clean!

Our cadets preformed at Blue springs, Missouri, making this our biggest competition yet! Even after a 3 hours drive our team was still able to steal 4th place out of about 18 schools! #OURHOUSE#NE021#Drillteam
5 weeks ago our cadets competed at UNO. We won overall for unarmed, 1st place unarmed exhibition, and 2nd place armed regulation. Good job to all our cadets representing our corps with pride!

This year’s military ball was a huge success! We had a great guest speaker, Officer Hobbs! And our honor guard presented the colors and our POW/MIA table! After we had a fantastic dinner, we partied until midnight!

Our recruiting directorate has been hard at work engaging with our community at Lewis and Clark, Logan Fontanelle, and Mission middle schools. As well as connecting to next year’s freshmen at freshmen orientation night. #NE021
The 1st semester change of command happened the 13th of January, where we had different awards for our cadets, but also announced our new spring semester group staff and the winning upperclassmen and freshmen flight of the semester. #OURHOUSE#NE021
Our cadets woke up early in the cold winter morning the 13th of December to help families get food, winter coverings, and choose toys from an incredible selection of gifts for families in need.

Annually, at East we have the Heartland of America band come down to perform their Christmas show titled “Letters to Santa” in our auditorium. Our cadets volunteered to help usher and open the doors for everyone that came, the 12th, 13th, and 14th of December, for the concert.
8 weeks ago our cadets drove 2 hours to Lees summit West. Our unarmed regulation got 2nd place over all. Congratulations for the rest of our teams, positivity and confidence was great.

Our annual SPA night, the 21 of November, went off a success, involving fun video games brought by their peers, swimming in our school’s pool, and a selection of board games. We invited 8 middle schoolers to attend, which cadets helped volunteer to lead and play games with them.
On Nov. 16 our own personal drill team helped the parents auxiliary set up and serve a ton of chili made by our own cadets’ parents! After a lot of delicious food, our team showed off everything they had worked for. It was a fun and great way to kick off the season!

For East’s home Football games, our colorguard presents the colors, and the other cadets volunteered to help out their school and peers by doing security.

The community was invited to our school’s annual trick or treat night, the 28 of October. We built a haunted maze and had games set up in our room. Our cadets got to work in the maze and game room, where they got to help scare, and play games with their peers.

On the 15th of October, our cadets had a blast finding points at Camp Ashland while escaping and evading the national guard volunteers and our specially picked students on the Red Team.
