Right now, the APC governs 4 out of the 5 States of the South Eastern States, in the South South, the party governs 6 out of the 6 States, it governs 7 out of 7 in the North West, 5 out of 6 in the North East, 6 out of 6 in the North Central, in the South West, it governs 4 out of 6, the lowest in any geopolitical zone.

They govern you in your States and your people vote for them in the local government election but it’s the Yorubas that you make snide remarks at. You hide under the guise of politics and denigrate a tribe just like you did to the Fulanis and Northerners when Buhari was President. If they handover the platform of the APC to your “Messiah” now, 99% of you will change mouth and join APC just like you hail Malami and El Rufai after your candidate joined the failed coalition.

Now it makes sense why a lot of people struggle to pay school fees, house rent and live a meaningful life with their kids, when men die, lose jobs or sources of income or marriages breakdown and these men refuse or stop to take further responsibilities over the kids. Because from the get-go, there’s already a fundamental problem of zero financial investment and commitment towards the marriage, the kids and their own life. The kids get sent out of schools, landlords chase people out of their homes and to afford good food becomes a problem.

If you are a man whose wife does nothing or makes no reasonable efforts to do something and all you do is to chest all the bills in the family, with zero financial commitment towards the family from your spouse, or your spouse sees stepping up for family responsibilities as “helping” just know that the kind of suffering that awaits your children in the future go pass wetin you fit imagine. Before I got married, I used to think that men were usually the ones forcing women to have children. But after I got married, I realised that a lot of times, women are actually the ones who desperately want to have children.
