In an interview with Morocco World News (MWN), Nidal Benali, Head of International Relations at the International University of Rabat (UIR), said the event goes beyond celebration as it focuses on mentoring students and preparing them for the job market.

He noted that the university works with experts across multiple fields and maintains partnerships with US institutions such as Mississippi State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of California Los Angeles, and University of Connecticut to better prepare students for future careers.

Important meeting today in Rabat between U.S. senators, Minister Delegate Abdeltif Loudyi, and General de Corps d’Armée Mohammed Berrid, reaffirming the historic U.S.-Morocco defense partnership. The senators praised Morocco’s vital role, under HM King Mohammed VI, in promoting peace and stability across Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East. Together, we advance an impactful cooperation through the 2020-2030 Defense Roadmap and the ‘African Lion’ exercise.
