@bluesuits Hey! We currently do not record the symposium at this time. As the symposium grows and there's more demand for virtual attendance, we hope to enable this.
Why it’s important to track charged particles.
On the @BEbeyond20 Symposium listening to Former NASA Chief Scientist, James Green.
Jim Green envisions humanity’s future as we establish permanent outposts in orbit, on the Moon, and Mars. He focuses on Mars—the next frontier in the Artemis program—exploring how civilization will take root on the red planet and examining the bold prospect of terraforming the Red planet.
It was a pleasure to join @BEbeyond20 for a fireside chat this morning to discuss the recently passed @housescience NASA authorization and other efforts to expand the human presence in the solar system. #AdAstra
#HappeningNow: a conversation exploring what #governance frameworks must we forge to enable permanent human settlement beyond Earth?
Stay tuned for more conversations happening throughout the day.
Day 2 of #BES26 has begun!
The day started with a discussion on BE’s plans to advance #policy frameworks for long-term human expansion beyond Earth and a timely fireside chat on bipartisan efforts happening on #CapitolHill to strengthen America’s #space program.
Sharing recommendations across commercial LEO development, #cislunar markets+infrastructure, #Mars readiness, and scalable off-world governance, the BE Leadership Council is proud to roll out out 2025-2026 Reports.

This was a GREAT panel talk on beating China to the Moon vs. beating China on the Moon. A topic put forward by Bhavya Lal. Moderated by Jeff Foust with Lori Garver, Thomas Zurbuchen, yours truly, and Pete Garretson.
Copies of the 2025-2026 Beyond Earth Leadership Council Reports are available as are opportunities to connect with #NASA-aligned programs and careers. Visit our partners' tables during the #BES26 breaks!
What a great start to this program. Bhavya Lal is giving a cogent argument for a long term focus on space exploration and development rather than the “two-nation race model.” I look forward to being on her panel and getting a few moments to rebut that and arguing that being first does not obviate being best, but being first does matter, a lot. There may be no silver medal here.
#BES26's first session, "Moon First or Moon Forever? U.S. Strategy in the Face of China's Lunar Ambitions" examines whether we're ready to lead the future of lunar development or allow China to set the pace. @Lori_Garver@Dr_ThomasZ@GregWAutry@GarretsonPeter
Beyond Earth 2026 Symposium is officially underway!
@SteveWolfe119 kicks us off at @AUWCL on the vision and challenges of establishing a policy and legal framework that enables economically vibrant communities beyond our planet. #BES26
Heading to Washington, DC for @BEbeyond20 Symposium.
Excited because it discusses two things we’re working on: Moon / LEO presence and operations.
We’re getting to the point where #spaceweather becomes just weather — an operational real-time input with real forecasts.
I’ll be around — ping me if you’re in DC! Let's link up.

The next era of space expansion won’t be driven by technology alone: it will be shaped by the people building the frameworks and tools that will make long-term human presence possible.
We recently sat on the @SpaceShow to tease out topics to our upcoming Symposium; from NASA’s authorization bill to cislunar infrastructure and the pathway to a space town.

We are one week out from Beyond Earth Symposium 2026!
A featured panels brings together veteran architects of space policy to explore: What governance frameworks must we build to enable permanent human settlement beyond Earth?
Don't miss the conversation: https://t.co/TZFOHFhoWE
From off-Earth infrastructure to ethics and governance, policy decisions made today will define what space inhabitation brings for humanity tomorrow.
Join the conversation at @BEbeyond20 Symposium 2026, happening February 24-25, 2026.
