Revolutions tend to happen when members of heirarchies feel they can't rise, so the lowest rung of the oppressing or the highest run of the oppressed. Their collaboration creates revs.

The dumbest people alive continue to project moralism onto materialist analysis. They did not have a "good reason" in any moral sense, they existed in material conditions and social relations that insentivise certain behavior to benefit them. They did/do it for a reason.
