As From April 6, hauliers arriving in England from abroad will need to take a COVID-19 test in England if they are staying for more than 2 days. They need to take the first test within the first 2 days, then further tests every 3 days.

A driver will not need to take a test if he or she arrives in England from Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man - known as the Common Travel Area (CTA). A driver must have only been in the CTA or the UK in the 10 days before arrival.
