You can change your life sooner than you think. Take that chance you feel unworthy of. Make the decision that scares you. Change one habit you feel you never can. Don't underestimate your power. Get started. Momentum will build. Progress will compound. Every move counts.
The way certain people behave has a lot more to do with their thoughts than you. Maturity is to not engage with them when they try to provoke you. Their power lies in your response. Reject their invitation to conflict with indifference. Guard your peace. Your health is important.
Don't chase people who don't value you. Don't stay at places where you feel more exhausted than excited. Don't expect respect from someone who is never willing to meet you halfway. If they can't honor your presence, they deserve your absence.
I understand that I’m a safe space for a lot of people, and that’s why it can be hard for them to let me go when I decide I’m done. But the reality is, a lot of people aren’t a safe space for me. That’s the fucking issue, they need to understand that.
Nobody is really ready to hear this, but sometimes the painful truth is: you played a part in your own suffering. You ignored the signs. You stayed when you knew you should leave. You made choices that led you somewhere you never wanted to be. Not everything is your fault, but taking responsibility for what is yours is how you take your power back. Stop blaming everyone else for the consequences of your choices. You got yourself there, now choose yourself enough to get yourself out.
Sometimes you gotta back away from something you really care about just to see what happens when you stop doing all the work. Stop reaching first, stop making every plan, and stop being the reason the connection stays alive. That distance will show you whether it was mutual or if you were carrying it the whole time. If everything stops when you stop trying, you already got your answer.
Great things never came from comfort zones. If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done. Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.
Some battles should have broken you, some disappointments should have stopped you, but somehow you kept going. That wasn’t just strength, it was grace carrying you. When your burden becomes too heavy, God gives you strength for what you thought you couldn’t survive.
Sometimes we become so focused on where we're going that we miss something important along the way. This little story is a reminder I think we all need occasionally.
A man decided one morning to climb a hill overlooking his town. From the bottom, the path didn't look particularly difficult.
But after a while, the ground became steeper. His legs began to ache. His breathing grew heavier. And every time he looked towards the top, it seemed just as far away as before.
He started to become frustrated. He had been walking for what felt like hours, yet the top of the hill still looked impossibly distant.
Other walkers passed him. Some moved quickly. Some seemed barely out of breath. He watched them disappear further up the path and wondered why he was finding it so difficult.
Eventually, he reached a small wooden bench beside the trail. He sat down. For a moment, he stared at the path ahead. There was still so far to go.
Then an older walker sitting at the other end of the bench said something simple.
“Have you looked behind you?”
The man turned around. For the first time since beginning the climb, he stopped looking at the top.
Far below him, he could see the place where he had started. The houses looked smaller now. The road was barely visible. He could see every bend in the path he had already walked.
And suddenly, the distance still ahead didn't seem quite so important.
He hadn't reached the top. But he certainly wasn't where he started.
Life can feel like that sometimes.
We spend so much time looking at where we want to be that we forget to notice how far we've already come. We see the goals we haven't reached. The things we haven't achieved. The changes that haven't happened yet.
And while we're looking ahead, it's easy to believe we're standing still.
Every now and then, stop looking at how far you still have to go. Turn around.
Look at everything you've already made it through. Look at what you've learned. Look at the person you've become along the way.
You don't have to be at the top to be proud of your progress.
Sometimes you just need to look back to realise how far you've already climbed.
Have a great day, and take care of yourself.

Sometimes I look at how much I've survived and instead of feeling proud, I just feel sad that I had to become this strong. I know I'm resilient. I know I made it through. But there are days when I don't want to celebrate my ability to endure anymore. I just want a life where I don't constantly have to prove that I can.
Today is another day, another chance to fix what went wrong, another chance to reset and restart, another chance to turn over the page and start a new chapter in life. It isn't too late. You still have time to make your life better. Become someone you always desire to be.
The finish line is a myth. You cross it, and there's another race. Another mountain. Another goal. Another problem to solve. Stop living for the end. Fall in love with the running. Dress well. Eat good. Have fun. That's all there is.
One of the best things my therapist told me was: When someone knows they treated you wrong, they avoid you. It's called a guilty conscience. They don't have the maturity to apologize for their disrespectful actions, and since they lack accountability, they simply remove themselves from your life. If you needed to hear this, maybe this account is for you.
At times life gives pain but don't let it turn you into a bitter or negative person. When your heart embraces hope, struggle of hard days become a bit easy to handle. Happiness lies in looking at the wonder of life. Joy is in gratitude for little joys we often overlook.
that loss was not a loss
it was clarity clothed in confusion
emancipation buried in pain
a blessing wrapped in misfortune,
allow it to leave,
and notice how much room
your hands have
now that they aren’t holding it.
Boys, let me tell you something… Nothing is more important than family. During good times it may be tempting to celebrate with your friends & that’s fine but always reserve your best self & efforts for your family.
When you find somebody that’s really genuine with you, don’t take that for granted. It’s too many people out here playing games, switching up, and acting loyal until something better come around. Finding somebody who really chooses you, stays solid, and gives you a reason to trust them is rare. If you got somebody like that, value what you got. Everybody ain’t finding that twice.
