I believe in the future of agriculture..."
The future looks bright at Morris Elementary. The FFA members loved going and greeting the baby bluejays when they came to school. We even had the opportunity to read to and play games with 4 different classes! What a great week!
Today we had Denise Juhl lead the chapter in a community service activity. Ms. Juhl works for Hope Ministries in Des Moines who serves people in need in Central Iowa. The students packed around 300 laundry packs that will be distributed to the people who visit/utilize the shelter
Another Fab 4 putting their names in the history books! These students put hours of hard work into their record books and it paid off. They will receive their Iowa Degree at the Iowa FFA State Convention in April.
Congratulations all!
📢Join us for the Bondurant-Farrar FFA Food Drive on January 10th. Let’s come together to help feed the youth in our community by supporting the Bondurant-Farrar School Food Pantry. We’ll collect donations at the Junior High and High School.
Your generosity makes a difference!
Life skills presentations in Ag Leadership! Yesterday Emma taught us how to sew on a button and close a rip. Today Marli introduced us to wrapping gifts like a pro! The rest of the week will be filled with check writing, budget meal planning, and tying a tie.

On November 7th, BF FFA attended the Iowa Pork Youth Judging contest at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. There were 127 teams consisting of roughly 700 youth participants.
Upon receiving results we would like to congratulate Preston Von Stein on achieving 2nd place overall Senior!
BTS of Senior banners. We consider this "mullet OD". (Business on top, casual on bottom.)
Thank you Photos By Ben for working with us this morning. @BlueJayNation
Today we took math out of the classroom & utilized it in Natural Resources. We calculated the slope around school & discussed the importance of knowing the slope of land for conservation practices.
Math teachers you should be proud because these students were rockstars @ slope!
