I think the magic number of wins is 8 to win the division.
It's hard to imagine the Eagles or Cowboys getting 7+ more wins, or the Commanders getting 8+.
Dallas is probably the biggest threat and even with how bad they are playing, it's conceivable that they could get wins against Philly twice, Colts, Titans, Washington, and Giants. Hard to imagine them beating teams like the 9ers, Jags, Seattle.
That puts them at 8-9.
For the Giants, that means MUST wins of Philly twice, Washington again, and the Colts. From there, you need to find another win somewhere between the Texans, Jags, 9ers, Seahawks, Browns, Lions, or Cowboys. That would put us at 8-8-1.
8-8-1 > 8-9
@LRubinsonWFAN Idk. JJ can operate a totally different offense given his ability to run. It’s really difficult to do a 180 in the middle of a game (see week 2 vs Rams example). You probably want your offense in sync the entire game.
2021: Saints Week - I've seen hundreds of OT coin tosses over the years. Most are boring. Every now & then you might get a memorable reaction. But no one brought the energy & F💣's like @JabrillPeppers when he won the toss for #NYGiants & took the ball 😂
@JoezMcfLy Why? By the standards that the Yankees have for themselves, this was a wildly successful year. 90+ wins, a wild card playoff birth, making it to the 2nd round… they’ll have you believe that this was truly a successful year!
@JoezMcfLy Their success criteria is a 90 win regular season and a playoff appearance. The bar is not win the World Series anymore.
Until that changes, and it only changes with wholesale changes to the GM, coach, etc., nothing will change.
