Meet @BFleu, our first country curator of DRC who is a Congolese educator, applied mathematician, and social entrepreneur who believes in making mathematics visible, meaningful, and transformative for African societies.

In 2016, his early dedication to educational reform earned him a selection by the World Bank to participate in the Global Education Summit—an international recognition of his vision for mathematics as a tool for development. This selection became a defining moment that inspired deeper engagement with educational innovation.

🎖️ Congratulations to our very own Educator Bruce Mafuta Shola, a Mathematics Teacher at the Ecole Internationale Bilingue Le Cartesian (EIBC), DRC 🇨🇩for organizing a Mathematics Competition.

The objective of the program was to boost #EIBC students’ interest and confidence in 🧮 mathematics, enhance their problem-solving skills, and provide a platform for identifying and nurturing mathematically gifted students 👩‍🎓.

In the coming months, we will be hosting educators in Kishasa, DRCongo 🇨🇩 across Public, Private and Missionary calls to improve teaching competency while ensuring students are equipped with skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics skills.

We are so excited and counting down to the e-STEM training and development training of Educators in Congo 🇨🇩
