I believe, know how sit with ambiguity is so so far the most underrated capability in life. Most of problems in the job market for everyone but taking as example the CS and hard technical people is they don’t learn how to play with the system, how walk around it and understand it fragility, they compensate it with high demand, but it’s a pain anyway.
We can transfer this to other contexts as well.
i used to be embarrassed by my fine arts degree
i’d watch my friends study cs, get internships, get jobs, and feel like i messed up
but the older i get the more grateful i am for it
art school taught me how to observe , how to sit with ambiguity
so looking back i don’t think i’d build the things i build today without
I don't know how much I agree with this. It doesn't sound like a sustainable strategy compete with LLMs for knowledge. Maybe you can do it in the short term with knowledge at the interpersonal level (private knowledge in human organizations), but the edge there isn't huge, I think.
Instead, I see a bigger edge on orchestration.
