I love that I can just breastfeed anywhere, without having to bring anything along! It's always ready at the perfect temperature, whenever my baby needs it.

I always knew I wanted my baby to have my own milk, I wasn't sure about breastfeeding directly so I've pumped right from the start. It works well for us.

I decided breastfeeding wasn’t for me, but after learning about the benefits of colostrum, I chose to give those first few feeds a go.
It wasn’t part of the original plan, but sometimes you just do what feels right in the moment for baby and for you 💛

We survived the 10 day growth spurt 😅
Cluster feeding had me questioning reality, time, and whether I even own a shirt that’s not covered in milk… but we made it!

I really wanted to feel confident with breastfeeding before we went it alone, so I stayed an extra night in hospital just focusing on getting our latch right.

Honestly, it made such a difference having that extra time and support.

Weaning my one year old from breastfeeding turned out to be a lot easier than I expected.
I was bracing for a tough transition, but she took it all in her stride and so did I. Funny how the things you worry about most don’t always end up being the hardest.

I love how she just falls asleep after pretty much every feed. Completely full, calm, and content 😌

Straight into skin to skin and she just found her way herself and latched on like she’d done it a hundred times before. One of those moments I’ll never forget.

After a long few weeks of breastfeeding and expressing, I’m so happy to say we are finally back at birthweight! 🥹🤍

So proud of my little one and so proud of us for pushing through the tough days. Every feed, every pump, every sleepless night was worth it. 🫶✨

We went to our first breastfeeding support group today. 🤍
It felt so comforting being around other mums who understand the journey, the ups, the challenges, and the little wins. Grateful for the support and for spaces like this. 🫶
