The BGA is the Birmingham Golf Association. We run junior golf events throughout Bham for boys and girls ages 10-18 and have been doing so since 1965.

Jonathan sees his named added to the Elbert S. Jemison Trophy, which dates back to 1965, as the overall boys champion. Way to go Jonathan!

16-19 boys saw Jonathan win the title for the second year in a row, with Grayden second and Luke in third. Great stuff!!

14-15 saw Cash come out on top, with Seve in second and Asher third.

Ford took home the title in 12-13 after a fine closing round 70, with Mac second and Bibb third. Nicely done boys!

10-11 boys saw Phillips come out on top after nines of 33-35--68! Haynes was second, with Lane third. Way to go boys!

And Merritt also had a day to remember as she made a hole-in-one on the third hole!!

Courtney will now have her name etched on the Kathy Hartwiger Trophy as the winner of the Girls 18 holes championship.

Girls 18 holes saw some wonderful golf, with Courtney coming out on top after rounds of 63 (yes, 63!) & 71. Followed by Merritt, with 70-71, and Emma and Emma Kate in a tie for third. Wonderful playing ladies!

Congrats to Presley who won the Girls 9 holes division, with Aaliyah 2nd and Audrey third. Very well done ladies.

Our Junior Championship is in the books! Thanks to our most gracious hosts, The Country Club of Birmingham. The East Course was in wonderful condition and a joy for the BGA boys and girls to play.

And, last but not least, our favorite part of the evening: Announcing our scholarship recipients. This year they are Aubrey, Camilla and Jackson. Our heartfelt congratulations!

Courtney and Merritt finished tied 1st POY in Girls 18 holes, sharing the Girls Hudson Cup, with Caroline third. Very well played ladies.

We held our BGA banquet last night. Thanks to our hosts, The Country Club of Birmingham, for a wonderful evening. We celebrated the top 3 POY in our 6 age groups. Well played Presley and Aaliyah who tied for first in Girls 9 holes. (Kathryn was 3rd, but could not be there).

And Wells also won for the second year in a row, this time in 12-13, after a playoff with Holcomb; with Phillips taking home the 10-11 title. Thanks again to all involved for a very special day indeed!!
