Add Westchester, NY to the ban the box trend; assuming the county executive signs the law as recommended, criminal record inquiries on the employment application will now be barred there as well. Many NY locales now prohibit this as well. https://t.co/qucMoMDkh7

Kansas City, MO council voted to "ban the box" -  following the trend, goes farther than that - employers may only decide not to hire if criminal history is "reasonably related to the duties . . . of the position."
