@mgcarrico@RealKidPoker@GGPoker@WSOP 88 entries, almost all top players, playing for high stakes, is closer to the original vision of the wsop than twenty thousand amateurs buying in for 500 bucks.
@conn033@MrCashIsBACKacr@DougPolkVids Exactly. While they did not have charges pressed against them this whole ordeal showed how volatile the poker situation in Austin is right now. Stepping back and focusing on his other ventures and family makes perfect sense to anyone that isn't just trying to find a hole in it
@MediumHoldings Fair. He said he did have questions planned and he just messed it up. He owned up to it. I just think it's silly to act like he doesn't deserve this job
@MediumHoldings It's just so easy to Monday morning QB these things. You have no idea how hard it is to do hundreds of interviews and always ask the right things unless you've done is. Dude admitted it was a bad question. Touch grass and have some perspective
@Tim_XRP@FossilMan@GNLVpoker No I understand. He's just playing a word game. If you have an A and one A comes on the flop you made a pair. But if two As come on the flop you made trips. On no street was your hand ranking a pair. I think that's what he's going for.
@Tim_XRP@FossilMan@GNLVpoker He's playing a semantics game I think? If you have AK and the flop comes AA2 or whatever you never at any point have a single pair. You go from ace high to trips
@ClearTradeoffs@berkey11@KobeissiLetter I think that's true for poker mostly especially because there's always going to be players who aren't top tier who want to play... But I feel like this is a false comparison. It's not like solvers are entering tournaments or playing on HCL... They're tools
@peakgto@JonathanLittle Not a pro but I'd call to float thinking he has a lot of ace high, with plans to bluff turn/river if it's a blank or I pick up a straight draw
