We were forced to delete majority of the tweets in our original thread. Yet again all attempts have been made to silence us. However, we are resilient in continuing the fight. If you did not get a chance to read our side, the link is below https://t.co/tC6rNEWwHq
These sessions are open to ALL students. However, historically, Black students experience more challenges with police. Therefore, we want to specifically encourage Black students to attend these sessions!

‼️ Important to note: This specific session is targeted toward Black students' experiences.
There are multiple sessions that will be occurring. Students should have received emails about the other sessions.
BLACK STUDENTS! Margolis Healy will be performing a series of sessions with students for an external audit on ISU PD. This is an opportunity to give your genuine feedback/experiences with ISU PD.
Our demands are still on the table and this helps to fulfill one of them!
For those unaware, Students for Trump ISU have been recording students without their consent who argue with them to send to their National org to depict them as violent and aggressive leftists. Be mindful if coming into contact with them, and most of all be careful.
To the Black athletes of ISU we stand with y’all! We encourage everybody to circulate these demands & to keep putting pressure on Athletics @ISURedbirds@IllinoisStateU
Why does it have to be a national outcry for y’all to believe students?? That is anti-Black!!The same things ya’ll are putting in your performative solidarity statements are what you’re students needed months ago when they were marching on the quad. @IllinoisStateU@ISURedbirds
Protect Black students when they tell you the first time!!! When speak on our experiences it’s only believed when it’s too late or even worse never at all.
This Thursday Black students!
So many gems will be dropped:

To our Black students: Please join us for a virtual healing and justice space on July 23rd at 3 pm. We will be joined by staff from Student Counseling Services to help work towards inner healing from racial trauma, coping with grief and loss, and affirming your blackness.
As Black people we face a multitude of inequities already. However in light of the present unrest while living in a pandemic, our trauma has heightened.
Please join us as we create a community space to heal, while also continuing to resist ✊🏿

Alleged students from a Normal high school post ‘horrific’ racist videos on social media https://t.co/dBa9ZcgJOg
Racism is learned. Systems and institutions are the machines that fuel it. The students behind this need to be expelled, period. Make examples out of them.
