Our region is one of the hardest in the state- think near perfect scores getting the top spots in every event. So, these students have much to be proud of, and we are so proud of them. If you know one of these competitors, please congratulate them on their hard work this year.

This past weekend, 13 students competed at the Academic and Speech Regional UIL competition. While not everyone placed in their events, all competitors did their personal competitive bests. Mikah M. also managed to snag a 6th place victory in Social Studies. 🎉

Also, the Calculator Applications team (Erickson, Erickson, Erickson, Green) coached by Cameron Cates won 1st place and will be advancing to regionals as will the Social Studies team (Matsuzawa, Sangsvang, Love, Houston) coached by Lona Davis as they also won 1st place.
