¡Feliz Día de Muertos!

This tradition is common in Mexico and Guatemala to welcome the souls of loved ones on this day.
Today in Mr. Dodds’s Spanish 2 class, we finished a project called ¿Quién Soy Yo? (Who Am I?). After writing & posting anonymous Spanish autobiographies around the room, students read & guessed the authors. Our kids know each other well: Nearly 50% guessed every author correctly!
Here is a pie chart that shows the breakdown of intelligence modalities (cognitive preferences) of students in my classroom this 2018-19 school year! #BackToSchool2018
Today in Mr. Dodds’s Spanish 2 class, students “speed dated” by role playing “doctors and patients in the doctors office.” Patients described their problems before the doctor made a diagnosis and recommended what the patient should and should not do. Everyone did a great job!
