We will be sharing positive feedback via several channels throughout the week from the lifecycle of patients - Birth to Bereavement and encourage you to join in. #ExpOfCare#patientfeedback @HopeNetworkNHS
@WhoseShoes @thepaedsnurse @WeNurses That's a great way to frame it @WhoseShoes, our patients have recently been asking how they can take more ownership on improving patient experience. 'I said, I did' would really help in #coproduction#WeNurses
@WeNurses I think shifting from the comfort of numbers to focus on the narrative more. There seems to be a misconception that more feedback means better feedback. As long as there is enough to look at themes I'd rather hear from 5 detailed patients stories than 50 surveys.
@WeNurses understand the narrative behind the numbers! Utilising qualitative methods to fully understand what is being said. Link with QI, Patient Safety and trust developments to truely make the most of the feedback given. #WeNurses@WeNurses
@WeNurses Finding innovative ways to capture feedback. Realising that not one way fits all! taking every opportunity to listen and learn from our patients/carers and service users
@WeNurses it always comes back to the 'so what' question for me. We must ensure we use the feedback gained to drive improvements within healthcare. if we do nothing with the feedback given what was the purpose in collecting it! #WeNurses
@WeNurses@WeNurses we have built reports that include patient feedback, complaints, PALS, compliments and improvements. It is my aim to focus on different ways to capture and present feedback to include more qualitative methods #WeNurses
@kat_glaister@WeNurses very true @kat_glaister, we spend a lot of time and energy on the negatives when in fact even complaints are a positive in my mind as its an opportunity to learn and improve!
@WeNurses Patient experience is everyone's business. I think there is a real misconception that it is down to particular individuals or one team when in fact it is the responsibility of all both staff and patients
Whose role/responsibility/value is patient experience?

Team-based care acknowledges that there are multiple key professionals treating a patient and that each of them must work with one another in order to drive optimal care outcomes.
Our outpatient department in NSIC work incredibly well as a team!
Our colleagues try and go above and beyond to provide the best possible patient care. Staff on ward 12a at Wycombe received high praise for their care and compassion as a team from a recent patient visit. #PatientExperience#PatientCare
