Raleigh is a prime example of how to build a hockey culture.

The Carolina Hurricanes have turned it into one of the best hockey towns in the NHL, despite lacking a cold climate/deep history. This was outside Lenovo Center after the Game 2 ECF win.

Hockey belongs in the south.

@clerkie I talk about this in my esports classes. 1960, when the Sullivan family won the bid for the AFL’s Boston franchise, they paid 15k which is about a quarter mil in today’s dollars. They didn’t even have their own home stadium til the 70’s. Imagine if they paid OWL’s franchise fee?
