Doesn’t matter how many meals you’re eating per day for fat loss.
No, eating more smaller meals throughout the day does not boost metabolism.
Whether it’s two meals or four,
staying within your calories in a deficit is what matters to lose fat.
@49ersSportsTalk@dpshow Respect to Lane for keeping it real and not giving some made up answer. He said what we all saw and knew, but acknowledged and spoke to it publicly.
I was the kid with fit parents growing up
my dad hopped into our pickup football games
& my mom was running behind me while I biked
Lemme tell ya…it was the COOLEST THING IN THE WORLD
I urge you to be the fit parent…it’s the best gift you can give your kiddos
Get the “I’ve tried everything.” crowd a lot when they can’t see results.
When is the last time you got on an evidence based program,
and followed it consistently for at least 12 weeks?
Can’t say “I’ve tried everything.” if you’re unable to answer this question.
Muscle helps with the following:
-Stabilizing blood sugar
-Minimizing fat on the body
-Metabolism
-Bone health
-Strength
All things that you’ll care about later into your senior years.
Muscle in the longevity organ.
@wizardsfansad@The_StilesFiles This is just another way of saying you’re a hater. Why does how a fanbase supports their players bother you? How does it impact your day to day life? You are weak minded, mad, and jealous. Call it it what it is bud.
An exercise/nutrition program geared to your goals will outdo you just winging it at the gym, copying workouts & “eating healthy options”.
While doing something is better than nothing in general, if you have specific goals, your nutrition/exercise will have to be specific.
If you starve yourself, you will lose weight.
If you lose muscle, you will lose weight.
If you stress out, you will lose weight.
This isn’t the same thing as fat loss.
Stay away from making “weight loss” goals.
@EmmanuelAcho@49ers But when their team loses, these fans blame talent & needing more help 😂 that’s why I don’t entertain nothing casual fans say. 99% of them never played, coached, or understand the demands of the game. It’s just emotional banter with added layers of BS to feed their bias & hate.
Only time you need to have a goal weight, is if you are competing in sports for weight classes.
Other than that, I’d advise against it.
If fat loss is your goal,
you can then structure your diet and training accordingly to target that.
4 Reasons Why Setting A “Goal Weight” Is A Terrible Idea
1. Weight loss can strip muscle
2. Weight Loss doesn’t guarantee better health
3. Goal weights lead to unsustainable diet schemes
4. Goal weights were invented by diet companies
Set a goal to lose fat & build muscle.
