Join our working group this Thursday, when Emy Lindberg will be presenting a chapter from her thesis, Dream Machine: an Ethnography of Football Migration between Ghana and Sweden. Emy is turning the chapter ‘The Football dads and Other Parental Figures’ into a journal article.
@OneTooves@127J_H I was kinda assuming that they now stand a few yards in from the rope to give them space to complete the relay catch, which is entirely pointless when it's often easier to come in and take the catch normally

@daisycutterzine Yes, legally it rests simply on the consent part. You can't collect data legally without it, and if teams have collected it, they cannot provide that data to anyone else without individual consent either. I don't think we even need to construct any argument re: discrimination
@daisycutterzine Sex/gender reassignment are both protected so should be illegal either way on individuals. Naming teams also not OK as then individuals could be identified. Any kind of 'mapping' like this requires informed consent to any persons mapped, which they're defs not giving.
🧢 Cap number 1⃣9⃣2⃣
