The consumer price index [ CPI ] hit a seven month low of 3.6% in February.

Similarly,
The Consumer Food Price Index [ CFPI ] also hit the 7 month low at 3.75%

🔰 April 2024 :

● CPI: 4.83%
● CFPI: 8.7%

🔰 Feb 2025 :

● CPI: 3.6%
● CFPI: 3.75%

CPI of 3.6% is well below the RBI’s comfort level of 4%.

Last month, the RBI’s monetary policy committee reduced the repo rate by 25 bps to 6.25% & another rate cut is on the cards in April.
