नंदीग्राम उपचुनाव से पहले आज जो घटनाक्रम हुआ, वो लोकतंत्र के लिए काला धब्बा है।

पहले ममता बनर्जी जी के कैंडिडेट को डरा-धमकाकर नामांकन रद्द करवाया गया और अब कांग्रेस के कैंडिडेट मिलन प्रधान जी को 19 साल पुराने केस में गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।

नरेंद्र मोदी और ज्ञानेश कुमार लोकतंत्र को पूरी तरह से खत्म करने में लगे हैं। ये सारी साजिशें उसी का सबूत है।

हम इन साजिशों से डरने वाले नहीं हैं। हम मजबूती से इसका सामना करेंगे और BJP को हराएंगे।

With performative bravado, PM @narendramodi claimed that his government granted classical language status to Bengali.

Here’s the truth: Under the leadership of Smt. @MamataOfficial, a four-volume compendium of rigorous scholarship was commissioned, tracing the roots of the Bengali language back over 2,500 years.

Didi personally wrote to the Prime Minister demanding classical language status for Bengali. Yet Bangla-birodhi, Bengali-Biddeshi @BJP4India stonewalled the demand for years, until they were left with no moral or intellectual ground to defend their obstruction.

But what Modi ji’s party has really done is:
❗️ Called Bengali a “Bangladeshi language”
❗️ Claimed there is no such language as Bengali
❗️ Demanded that those listing Bengali as their mother tongue in census records be identified as foreigners
❗️ Detained, tortured, deported, and even lynched vulnerable people for speaking Bengali
