As part of our Egypt and the Middle East Programme, Year 9 students visited Abdeen Palace in Cairo last week.
Built in 1863, the palace served as the official residence of the rulers of the Mohamed Ali Dynasty until 1952.
As part of an Arabic Reading Competition for Years 5 and 6, pupils delivered presentations about the books they have been reading to a panel of judges, including our Arabic language coordinators and Ms. Rania Hussein Amin, an author specialising in children's literature.
Year 11 students - also known as our 'Class of 2027' - learnt more about their options for the IB Diploma today, hearing from our Director of Sixth Form and department heads about the exciting challenges ahead.

Class 2S performed a beautiful class assembly about making good choices last Thursday.
The pupils presented role-play scenarios and spoke confidently to raise awareness of the independent choices the children make on a daily basis.
After School Activities return this week, and among the wide variety of options on offer, these Junior School children have been enjoying basketball, cricket, football and Construction Club!
