Spend *no energy* on anything that *only* benefits Labour. Any energy spent on them should only be spent because it's directly important to the movement, to your communities, to your class. Labour should only have the support it works for, otherwise it works only for itself.
Socialists should follow a party and movement strategy:
- Keep a foot in the Labour Party;
- Be active in movements;
- Promote their demands in the party and society;
So Labour can win by championing those demands & have the collective strength to deliver them in government.
Stephen Miller’s speech at Charlie Kirk’s memorial was essentially plagiarized. See if you can spot the similarities.
The Storm is Coming by Joseph Goebbels (1932)
“So our dead comrade Horst Wessel wrote, and we are fulfilling his prophesy. The others may lie, slander, and pour their scorn on us — their political days are numbered.”
“They promised you, workers, citizens and creative Germans, a Reich of freedom and beauty and dignity.”
“People, rise up, and storm, break loose!”
“You are the witnesses, the builders, the will-bearers of our idea and our worldview.”
“Well, we the people have awakened! We have risen against oppression, 15 million people have joined in an army of revenge.”
“You, men, women and comrades, are the bearers, witnesses, builders and finishers of this unique people’s uprising… We have served the truth, and only the truth. For twelve years, they have insulted and outlawed and slandered and persecuted us.”
Billionaires should not own social media platforms.
Billionaires should not run our newspapers.
Billionaires should not control our politics.
A free media is a democratic media - a public good that is owned and run by us all.
Migrants don’t drain billions from the public purse — tax dodgers do.
They don’t drive down wages or exploit workers — greedy bosses do.
And they don’t starve schools or hospitals of funding — political choices do.
Labour won’t defeat the far-right by parroting their myths.
Salesforce is down. Globally.
I run a salesforce org.
One stakeholder keeps emailing increasingly angry asking what I’m doing to fix it. What i, sat at my desk in Liverpool, am doing to fix Salesforce servers.
Me right now:
A BBC news reporter stood outside the BBC on BBC Breakfast saying that the BBC had not responded to a request for comment from BBC News about a BBC presenter being axed from a BBC show.
I was almost a political scientist. I considered getting Pol Sci at U.P. - Manila but ended up taking Social Science (Area Studies). I'm forever grateful for that choice.
I'll take this opportunity to tell the story of how I came to choose a relatively unknown course...

Many commentators have gone from 'any motive is irrelevant, blocking airport queues should be punished by the full force of the law' to 'those setting fire to police stations are just trying to express their legitimate frustrations the only way they can' in a week real quick
I wrote about why transphobes are obsessed with Imane Khelif: because by simply doing her job, she has enacted their grisly fantasies of trans violence. https://t.co/nclBrbwFz0
Watch the "at least we're not as bad as the States" crowd be dead silent on this. Canada has a policing problem that is just as bad as the US, but it receives far less attention because it gets overshadowed by American police brutality.
