I wrote my first novel in 2002. Since then I’ve written another with several others near completion. None have been published. Because I never submitted them for representation. Now it’s time to try. I’d appreciate you following along on this journey.
For anyone looking for a new author to discover, please check out my good friend C.L. Stiles’s debut novel launching soon on Amazon:

Hey @andyweirauthor, is “Mark” in @projecthailmary hinting that Mark Watney stole Grace’s girl after he came back from Mars?
Since it’s not a book element, was it an easter egg added for the movie?
(Yes we know Ryan’s friend is named Mark)

One change to my routine that has helped me focus more on my writing: I cancelled my Live TV streaming. I still have my other streaming platforms. But now the temptation to have live tv on in the background is gone. My focus/output has increased. #WritingCommunity
I’m a #Plantser. There. I said it. I like to have a plan and a direction on where I’m going with my story. But I also like the freedom to explore new things and ideas that present themselves during the creation process. #WritingCommunity
I love the writing part of the book process. I very much dislike the editing process. It’s difficult to self-edit my own work. I prefer to let someone else look at it and tell me what to fix. Am I alone in this? #WritingCommunity
Just a reminder #NovNov is right around the corner. Are you planning your project ahead of time or are you just gonna wing it starting Nov 1? #WritingCommmunity#NovelNovember
I really like using @trello when I’m planning and outlining my books. I can make a card for each scene or beat. Easily move them around and organize them. And I can write ideas, dialogue or content in the notes of each card. I’d be happy to share with anyone. #WritingCommunity
I set my target for 500 words/day on @ScrivenerApp. Most days I blow past that goal. Other days I write and write and look at the meter and I’m still not there. Keep writing. Keep pushing.
Some writers aim for 500 words a day. Others 2,000 or more. But sometimes it’s not the number of words, it’s the rhythm.
