I’ll likely miss any small weeds now as I need to make the NDVI map sensitive to miss the sprayed thistles and only pick up fleabane. I predict maybe only 5% coverage this lap over the 144ha

I won’t claim it’s 100% but it has a place. Ideally after a blanket spray to mop up hard to kill weeds, also on our sandy soils where weeds germinate all summer. I’ve also gone straight up, no blanket and happy

JD doesn’t freeze but will skip recording some spots on the coverage map, however sections are still spraying as they should. Big maps take longer to load into tractor also for me

@RichardHallett8 Don’t be fooled by the durum.. loves to show off. Early year has not necessarily meant a bad year, plenty of outstanding crops and some not so much. Time of sowing and sub soil moisture paying dividends and a combination of the 2 has proven to be very rewarding.

Have macdon dropped build quality and just live of reputation from previous models?
In 575 hours I’ve replaced 2 Center Draper bearings opposite the drive, the motor itself + the roller. Now 2day my cross auger is held up with a strap…
Great front but r they cheaping out?

@drage_farms @danking265 Conserva pak things... this is enough convincing to keep rolling with it. Split boot left doing it’s thing vs single shoot down the front Tyne. Same date, paddock ect..
