Class of 2028 athlete Brian Jackson Jr. is an explosive and determined football player out of Ragsdale High School in High Point, North Carolina. Standing at 5’5”, 145 pounds, Jackson brings toughness, speed, and versatility to the field as both a running back and middle linebacker. He plays the game with confidence and passion, embracing competition every chance he gets. Known for his work ethic and relentless mindset, Brian continues to push himself daily as he works toward becoming one of the top playmakers in his class.
This offseason, Jackson has focused heavily on improving his speed, agility, and football IQ through consistent summer practices and specialized training. He is planning to attend several exposure opportunities this summer, including events with Recruit Nation along with camps at North Carolina A&T State University and Wingate University, while also hoping to compete at a camp with Louisiana State University. Motivated by his family and fueled by his desire to prove himself, Brian believes his breakout season is right around the corner.

Q&A With Brian Jackson Jr.
Q: What does your summer training routine look like right now?
A: “Right now, my summer training routine consists of speed and agility work along with summer football practices. I’ve been focused on getting quicker, stronger, and more explosive so I can be fully prepared for the upcoming season.”
Q: Are you planning to attend any major camps, showcases, combines, or tournaments this summer?
A: “Yes sir, I plan on attending Recruit Nation events along with camps at NC A&T and Wingate. I’m also hoping to make it to LSU this summer because I want to continue competing against top talent and learning from great coaches.”
Q: Who has had the biggest impact on your athletic journey and development so far?
A: “My dad has had the biggest impact on my football journey. He has always pushed me to work hard, stay disciplined, and keep believing in myself no matter what obstacles come my way.”
Q: What motivates you to keep pushing when workouts get tough or when nobody is watching?
A: “What motivates me is knowing that I want to be better than I was the day before. I understand that success comes from the work nobody sees, so I try to stay focused and keep improving every single day.”
Q: What personal goals have you set for yourself next season?
A: “My goal next season is to prove that I’m an elite running back and show everyone what I’m capable of doing on the field. I truly believe I have a breakout season coming, and I just want an opportunity to prove myself to coaches and programs.”
Q: What team will you be representing next season?
A: “Right now, I’m looking forward to competing next season, and I would love the opportunity to represent Somerset High School. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the program, and it’s definitely something my family and I have talked about.”
Q: What message would you send to college coaches, scouts, or fans who are learning about you for the first time this summer?
A: “I’m a running back and middle linebacker who loves to compete and win. Playing on both sides of the ball has helped me develop great vision, discipline, and instincts, and I pride myself on making an impact every single snap I’m on the field.”
