🚨BIG DEBATE: Would South Africans Accept a half "Foreign star to PLAY for Bafana Bafana or Springbok? 🤔🇿🇦⚽

Countries like France, England and Belgium regularly field players who were born in those countries and are citizens by birth, even if their parents immigrated there and they have surnames like Saka, Bellingham, Onana, Lukaku or Mbappé.

Nobody questions whether they can represent their country because they were born and raised there. Now here's a question for South Africa...

If a South African-born player had one foreign parent and a surname like Chidimma, Adebayo, Olusegun or another non-traditional South African surname, would we fully embrace them if they played for Bafana Bafana or the Springboks?

Or would social media spend more time debating their surname than celebrating their goals? 😅

Be honest... if they scored a 90th-minute winner against Nigeria or New Zealand, would we suddenly shout, "That's our boy!" 😂

Or would the comments still be arguing over where their grandparents were born?
