@JAChainz@Buckeye_Mob Made arguably the two biggest plays in that semi against Alabama with the TD pass and the block that sprang Zeke for the 85 yard touchdown through the heart of the South!
@TheHoody27 I was at this game. The whole stadium was silent except for that little section of Oregon fans in the corner. The defense that year was absolute garbage.
@eraseyourhed@OspTheOG@fbscout_florida It’s pretty good in game coaching when you have Christian Gray 1 on 1 with Jeremiah Smith on 3rd and 11 with the national title on the line. Pretty good in game coaching when you lose a game to Northern Illinois after only mustering up 14 points.
@eraseyourhed@OspTheOG@fbscout_florida Yeah, they also gave up 31 straight after going up 7-0 on a drive Riley Leonard had to carry the ball 9 times in order to get into the end zone. Day is 3-0 against Freeman.
@EvinKnowsBall Jeremiah Smith walks onto campus as a true freshman in the same room as 2 future first round picks, Tate being drafted higher than Nabers, Chase and Jefferson, and helps lead OSU to the NC as the WR1.
@Jayxce Chase played 15 games, Smith 13. LSU averaged about 72 offensive plays per game, OSU 63. LSU’s defense was average, OSU’s was elite. LSU averaged 40 pass attempts a game, OSU 29. Chase is great, but it’s not a stretch to say Jeremiah is considered a better prospect.
@SendEmToE@JuckOnBucks 2023 could be considered a pretty good coaching year in all honesty. They were 6 points away from beating the eventual NCs on the road and going to the playoff. The defense was great in 2025, but can we honestly say the offense lived up to expectations with that talent level?
