@Madness_lnside @whitepizzaolla if you dont want to rework the art to fix the brightness/contrast issue, you can fix it by adding a border around the important details. it doesnt look as good and it doesnt work as well on the bright scenes.

@Madness_lnside @whitepizzaolla the text that does show up is only 1 line or two MAX. but your trailer has up to 4-5, very long winded dialogue boxes. if the viewer isnt invested in the game already, seeing all this text is overwhelming and tiring. keep it short and sweet and simple

@Madness_lnside @whitepizzaolla this trailer has pretty good visuals that warrant being shown off, and the dialogue heavy scenes that are shown have more going on than "people standing in a row with text coming on screen"

@Madness_lnside @whitepizzaolla you show off the menus because its something you're proud of, but that is not what players care about/want to see. you cant market a game for having "great menus", and showing off dialogue isnt exciting at all. People wanna see action, even if its not the focus of your game.

@Madness_lnside @whitepizzaolla you mentioned wanting to introduce even darker characters to the cast, I cant imagine it would help much at all. the art in general looks quite amateurish, especially when you mention being inspired by games like monkey island, with its beautiful vibrant artwork.
