Today, I officially launched the NG-CDF FIT@WORK Initiative, aimed at promoting health awareness, mental wellness, physical fitness and team bonding among staff.

At the NG-CDF Board, we believe that beyond work, taking time to exercise, interact and recharge is essential in building a healthy, motivated and united workforce.

Today, Wednesday, 28th October 2026, I presented and submitted the NG-CDF Board’s Budget Implementation and Monitoring Report for the Financial Year 2025/2026 to the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning of the National Assembly.

The report highlights budget performance, fund disbursements, expenditure, and the implementation of the Board’s mandate.

ADVANCING HEALTHCARE THROUGH NG-CDF PROJECTS 🏥🇰🇪

Today, I visited Rongo University School of Health to inspect the ongoing development of the facility, supported by the NG-CDF Board.

The project aims to strengthen health sciences training in fields such as nursing, public health, medicine and other healthcare disciplines, helping equip future health professionals with the skills needed to serve our communities.

Through education investments cutting across key socioeconomic sectors, the NG-CDF continues to advance its broader goal of improving youth access to quality skills, knowledge, and professional opportunities.

On Friday, 23rd October, I joined the National Assembly Select Committee on NG-CDF, the NG-CDF Board and the State Department for Economic Planning, led by Principal Secretary Dr. Boniface Makoha, in inspecting NG-CDF-funded projects across Kisumu County.

The delegation was led by Hon. Musa Cherutich Sirma, EGH, Chairman of the National Assembly Select Committee on NG-CDF, alongside Committee Members Hon. Mary Maingi, Hon. Titus Khamala Mukhwana, Hon. Joseph H. Maero Oyula, Hon. Gideon Ogolla Ochanda and Hon. Joshua Aduma Owuor.

During the exercise, we visited eight projects across Kisumu Central, Kisumu West, Nyando and Kisumu East constituencies, including Manyatta Police Station, Kosawo Secondary School, Kisumu Union Primary School, St. Paul’s Kanyakwar Primary School, Nyahera Digital Hub, North Kisumu Location Chief’s Office, Holo Digital Hub and Rabuor Digital ICT Hub.

The joint inspection provided an opportunity to assess project implementation on the ground and reinforce the importance of transparency, accountability and prudent use of public funds.
Effective oversight is essential to ensuring that NG-CDF-funded projects serve their intended purpose and deliver meaningful benefits to the communities they are meant to serve.

Today, I was honoured to host the National Assembly Select Committee on NG-CDF, Dr Boniface Makoha, Principal Secretary Economic Planning , together with the NG-CDF Board, at a session on the Smart NG-CDF System.

The Committee saw how the system is helping to improve the way NG-CDF resources are managed, from planning to project delivery.

Smart NG-CDF is part of the Board's move to digital systems. It supports accountability, efficiency and timely delivery of development projects.

Behind this work is a dedicated team of in-house developers, testers and the officers taking part in the pilot. Thank you for your commitment.

Our focus remains transparency, efficiency and results for the communities we serve.

This evening 🌙in Kisumu🇰🇪, I joined Members of the National Assembly Select Committe on NG-CDF led by their Chairperson, Hon Musa C. Sirma, EGH, for a briefing ahead of the Commitee’s inspection visit to Kisumu West, Kisumu Central and Nyando Constituencies tommorow Friday 23rd October, 2026.

The briefing included discussions focused on project verification, allocation of funds, disbursements, project evaluation, status of project completions and the role of technical and finance teams, including ways of addressing delays affecting projects.

The visits shall provide a platform for the Members of NASC to connect field observations with discussions at the policy formulation level while strengthening the legislative framework around project implementations and public finance management. #CDFniYetu

This afternoon in Nairobi, I held a meeting with members of Kaiti NGCDF Commitee, during the meeting Chaired by Mr Festus Wangwe, Chairperson Board’s Project Comittee, we discuss various emerging issues in the implementation of projects in the Constituency.

Today, I joined the NG-CDF Kisumu Central team in a tree planting exercise at Nanga Primary School, St. Peter’s Nanga Secondary School and Kapouthe Village.

The exercise was an important step towards addressing recurrent flooding, protecting our schools, restoring farmland and promoting environmental conservation.

By planting trees and protecting our river corridors, we are helping build safer learning environments, healthier communities and a more resilient future for all.

🇰🇪 ELDAMA RAVINE IN FOCUS | ADVANCING PEOPLE-DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT

A day of progress, meaningful milestones and renewed commitment to serving the people of Eldama Ravine. 🤝🏾

During the engagement, I joined H.E. President William Ruto and area MP Hon. Musa Sirma as we witnessed key milestones in education, public service delivery and constituency development. These included the commissioning of new classrooms at KMTC Eldama Ravine, the laying of the foundation stone for an administration block, and engagements at the Eldama Ravine Huduma Centre.

A key highlight was the commissioning of the newly constructed Eldama Ravine NG-CDF Office, an important step towards strengthening the Fund’s operations and presence at the constituency level.

I remain committed to strengthening institutional systems, promoting accountability and ensuring that resources translate into impactful projects that improve the lives of our citizens.

From investing in education to enhancing public service delivery, our focus remains on development that reaches the people and creates lasting impact. 🇰🇪
