The U.S. will pay for climate change whether or not the Green New Deal is in place.

The question is: Will we invest in a bold plan to boost the economy or will we pay for the damage from intense hurricanes, floods, droughts, wildfires, sea level rise & ecological devastation.

Incredible how often people in power are the ones we have to protect ourselves from. #WakeUpWisconsin

Sometimes I question the relevance of my chosen profession, but then I see people like Kathleen, who make me believe in justice again and the possibility to save people from harm.

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

@Ken723Ken The more you post things on this subject, the more fuel and entertainment you provide for the people. Incredible story and quite sad that a person with your intelligence and integrity was put in a position of power.

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

@FabreDustin @Ken723Ken @ZellnerLaw Dustin you made my day with your tweet. Agreed 😏

These are some of the 522 faces of Johns and Pimps arrested during the Super Bowl sting. Could be anyone around us really! Showing their faces is a minimal effort required to stop the demand for sex trafficking. #sextrafficking #SuperBowlSunday

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

Going to China to visit local NGO's working to prevent and protect domestic victims of sex trafficking. Very interested to learn and research their methods and stories. #china #sextrafficking #HumanRights

As a former athlete I'm a big supporter of sports and sporting events. It is sad, however, when some of them turn into a breeding ground for young victims to be exploited. Super Bowl sting arrests 512 Johns and Pimps. Thats a start!

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

I've been to almost 60 countries in the world. Most of them many times over, and i'm still amazed about the spectrum of cruelty and the strange act of kindness i have encountered. #travelling #HumanTrafficking

Orchids of Asia Day Spa sex trafficking survivors admitted that she was forced to have sex with 21 men in 6 hours. Most of these men are 'normal' family men looking for something extra. Sad! #sextrafficking #john #HumanTrafficking

Donal Trump claims to be very worried about the national sex trafficking problem. Let's see what he has got to say now that his friend Robert Kraft has been charged soliciting another to commit prostitution. #Trump #RobertKraft #sextrafficking

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

Is Robert Kraft the new John Childs. All the same stories wrapped in a different way. Time for new stories! #RobertKraft #johnchilds #sextrafficking

Can the Oscars shed some light on to human rights? Isle of Dogs is a beautiful metaphor for leaders who exploit xenophobia and fear and cause so much suffering around the world. #Oscar2019 #Oscars #IsleofDogs #HumanRights

[For The Win @ForTheWin]

We talked to an ACLU lawyer about what human trafficking really means https://t.co/aQbpXI7i8W

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

They call Florida’s Treasure Coast a 'seasonal playground' for rich predators like Robert kraft. I doubt the women trafficked would called it that!

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

Definition of Human Trafficking. "Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others."

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

@tennis2018 Yeah, that is a shame. Is so annoying to feel unsafe as a traveler.

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

Do you agree??

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

@AdamWhitto23 I founded online and wanted to hear a opinion from you guys. I also don't agree with some countries there. I have felt the MOST safe by far in Iceland, maybe because there is barely people there :)))

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

@Yusufmansz2 why is that?

[Barbara Kvelstein @BKvelstein]

@jenmanglos I agree with you. However, there are some spots in Spain where I do feel uncomfortable. But overall I do feel very safe here. Much more than in Greece.
