My mother and her dog are in lockdown and I need help. They live in a Santa Barbara retirement community and although neither of them have been diagnosed with any disease, they are forbidden to leave the property.
How can I help them?

@NCEAatUSC @NCOAging I need to find out my mother’s rights because the retirement community she lives at in California says if she leaves their campus when she gets back she hast to go into a 14 day quarantine - we already abide by the governor’s orders for family not to visit the campus

I don’t know, is it me? For some reason when I see a worker from a health food store where they are being so careful about the virus come out for a break and sit and smoke a cigarette - I kind of shrug my shoulders.

I went to Vons today.
A guy came out with groceries, wearing one of those facemasks and a pair of black gloves.
Put them in his car, squirted some stuff on his gloves and washed his hands with the gloves on! Closed the hatch back, got in the car and left.

As I stand here with the rising sun in the park I’m charging my electronics and I had a nature reflection - I feel like the seagulls that stand at the beach facing the sun and realize that there’s so much of nature I can relate to with a virus free mentality-

Why not just report the truth and work for those who want it.
